Chinese Couple Turns Desert Into Forest

There are two messages in the post: one is about what each of us can do to help combat climate change, the other is about making the most out of your circumstances.

 

There is a couple in a remote part of China who spent years planting trees on their land turning what was once a desert into a lush green land.  They worked tirelessly over the years accepting saplings for payment instead of money and now they own their own tree farming and organic food business.  They have even helped to change the climate of their region.
