Look for Positive Aspects

It may be difficult to look for positive aspects when there are so many negative things happening in the world but what is important to remember is that there always have been and most likely always will be, negative things happening. The key is to lessen your focus on those negative things and increase your focus on the positive things. 

Yes we have to help those who are in need and if you want to dedicate your life to helping others, then by all means do so, but in undertaking those acts of service be focused on the positive aspects of the people you are serving. For those who want to help on the periphery should do so with gifts of support, signatures on petitions and letters to representatives as well as any other assistance they feel is necessary.

I believe we all should be involved in some act of service, but what is important to remember is to keep a positive outlook in general even about the negative situation that caused the need for the service.
